Power of Attorney required for Customs Clearance

Attention: If this is a commercial shipment no action is required.

In accordance with art. 19 of the Union Customs Code (UCC) for free circulation of the shipment, DHL Express requires your Power of Attorney in order to clear your shipment through customs.

To provide your Power of Attorney, please ensure we have your name correct below and check the box to provide your authorization.

I hereby authorize the DHL Express GmbH to conduct the customs clearance, and as the case may be, the reverse processing of the shipment addressed to me. The services will be rendered through DHL Hub Lerpzig GmbH and the DHL Airways GmbH as a customs broker. I confirm the general terms of transport (2) as well as terms and conditions and service fees for the customs clearance (3). Please note: Customs clearance is made in your name. As a result, you become a party of the Customs Procedure and consequently, if the shipper does not pay for any Customs duties and incurred Taxes, you become debtor of these costs.
